The Spanish Conference of Bishops and the British CB should :banghead:

Could this be the start of the apostacy or am I speaking too soon?

I don’t know what apostacy you refer to, but this certainly isn’t an apostacy - it appears that a rather conservative priest has been taken out of context:

“…It appears that Father Juan Antonio Martínez Camino was attempting to explain that it was nice that an international program accepted the Church´s stance with respect to Abstinence. However, by mentioning the Lancet ABC program, the press miscontrued that to mean the Church was supporting the use of condoms. In other words, they ignored the parts “A” and “B” of the program, and misconstued the Father´s words that he was approving of the “C” part of the program…”

Thanks for posting this. As usual there’s always more to the story.

In secular news reporting, I am sure that the reporters know NOTHING about Religion and simply write that THEY think they heard.
And I am sure that if the story was reported, the editor may have wanted the story ‘changed’ for the acceptance of the masses.

I don’t trust the secular news as much as I could pick up the Rocky Mountains.

I am very disturbed by this. When I went to Zenit it said that it was not true. Now I am finding stuff about some congo dispensation that allowed Nuns to use the PILL of all things in the case of potential Rape?! WHAT?! because in Humana Vitea it says " free intercourse"

findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1141/is_16_37/ai_71250738

The NCR suggests it. How does one find out the TRUTH? In my Catechism it says that it is “never allowed”. Simply can this doctrine be changed? I assume, just like Women Priests it can not or never will be changed. But now I am hearing things about “special dispensations” for nuns in rape situations and that condoms can be licit for a wife noninfected, who is married to a man who is infected… the lesser of two evils can be used to protect her life?!

What about women who have been told “never to be pregnant again” due to heart problems etc? What about thier life?

I thought it was pro life all the way. Someone help me to understand this. Surely this is just a big misunderstanding. Surely they are not going to allow condoms??!!
