The Archbishop of Westminster used his Easter sermon to admit “serious sins” had been committed within the Catholic community over the child abuse scandal as the Pope’s personal preacher apologised for comparing attacks on the Church to anti-Semitism.
During his homily at Westminster Cathedral, Vincent Nichols, the head of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, said: "Talk of sin is not always popular - unless we are talking about other people’s sins.
