Just to add this point - it had been shared on a much earlier thread and some of the Muslims were in agreement with this sheikh’s answer:

Here was Sister Amy’s response to this answer: (emphasis is mine) In all fairness to Sister Amy, she qualifies her response in this answer, however there was never a clear cut answer to what qualifies as waging war against Islam and if I remember correctly, some Muslims think that just speaking against Muhammad or criticizing him qualifies as “waging war against Islam.”
yes, i pointed out several times how muslim woman actually wrote this:
This one incident in enough to prove that Prophet (p) personally forgave all the sinners. As a ruler , he needed to do justice to others , establish peace in the society. Punishing sinners is one of the ways to bring peace ; otherwise sinners will be encouraged to repeat the sins & others will follow them & innocents will suffer. That’s the reason few criminals got death penalty.
Those who leave Islam & don’t do any harm to Muslims won’t get any death penalty . Those non Muslims who are not fighting against Muslims or not committing any blasphemy will also be safe .
Those who were guilty of commiting blasphemy like the poet Kaab who wrote nasty poems against God , God’s last Prophet & other innocent Muslim deserved death penatly.
taken from comment 786

and there was silence from planten, sister amy and all the other muslim posters. not one person called her out on that!

All Christians and Jews who are faithful to the tenants of their religion will be safe, but those who believe in polytheistic gods will go to hell because of blasphemy…and they always accuse us of being polytheists.

I confronted someone on Newsvine about this discrepancy and got no response…planting seeds of Islam among us?..

Hi Jen Fla, this is Katgee…my computer was hit and we had to restore everything…

hi katgee!

just in case your wondering, you could save your old profile if you want. even if you forgot the password they can resend it to you.

peace.

oh and also, there is much debate about people of the book being safe as there is something about contracts being made only for periods of time. we really should research more the difference between mecca and medina teachings.

anyway, it appears our muslim friends have abandoned this thread. i hear crickets and see tumble weeds.

Hi Jen

I’ve attached a link for you research.

It lists the koran chapter (surah) numbers from Mecca to Media the way islamic scholars believe it was revealed to mohamad.

I guess if you dont believe that what Christ did was for all mankind, then I suppose it wouldn’t matter what you believed.

Thanks, Jen Fla…

Denying the crucifixion of Christ is denying Christ Himself.

I don’t see how some people can claim to have the authority on Christ while denying pretty much everything about Him.

I know there are difference in Catholic mass in different places.

Where i live we say his blood was shed for all, the bible narrations of His word agree with you for many.

The correct understanding is that Christ died for all but that not all will accept His death, so that in the actual application of its effects Christ only died “for many”. The version of the Mass promulgated by Rome says “for many”; both Pope John Paul II and Benedict XVI have ordered the mistranslation in English version to be corrected (though the bishops have not yet complied, even though it’s been years).

For the love of My Brethren are there any docs i can read from this?

Much appreciated post i have seen people in my parish family say confused as to if everyone goes to heaven thinking they will all.

With a heart full of love it is difficult at times to accept not all will go to heaven.

I tell my own kids deny Him and maybe He will deny you.

Bless you all, pray well and stay well.

Just now took a look at this thread. I wonder what happened to the OP? Looks like you guys scared him off lol :doh2:😉
