A hospital is a big thing to lose.
Misplacing two hospitals would seem downright careless.
Yet, the stewards of Exempla Lutheran and Exempla Good Samaritan medical centers have had these substantial nonprofit institutions slip away, according to Jefferson and Boulder County residents upset that the hospitals will soon “belong” to a Kansas-based Catholic health system, Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth.
Sisters of Charity won’t actually own the hospitals, but it will have operational control, running them under Catholic ethical and religious directives that prohibit many services previously provided, such as abortion, vasectomy, tubal ligation and contraception.
The state attorney general recently said it was n’t up to him to scrutinize the change in control, expected to be a done deal by the end of the year.

This article highlights how much the culture of death has permeated our culture. The Sisters of Charity will be infusing 10s of millions of dollars to imprve the medcial careat these hospital. Yet they are opposed becuase they will not allow the Hospitals to perform abortions or sterlizations.
The most telling comment was the last in the article
