Perhaps Church attendance as a gauge of Obama’s commitment to live life according to Christian Values and to support those values in his JOB was a very poor one. I should think before I speak, and do some research, too. (George Bush preferred worshiping at Camp David Chapel, by the way.)
The point I wanted to make was that rather than “host” someone who does not support Christian Orthodoxy much less the moral stands of the Catholic Church should be held accountable and should be confronted. “If you wanna come to my yard Mister President, I am not going to make nice, nice, give you hot dogs and beans but I am going to get in your face.”
It is sad to say that many Christians–don’t take the time to search the scriptures nor their Catechisms. As a result they willingly accept the garbage coming from the mouths of politicians who speak what “itching ears” want to hear.
Jesus loves sinners and as we can see in scripture he confronted sinners, didn’t He?

]B]Jesus loves politicians, even those who lust for more and more power. Reminds me of the Pharisees. Jesus confronted them, didn’t He?

What do you stand for and whom do you stand with?
The bible says, to not be Yoked With Unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14)
14Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
Yet, Catholics and Protestants who profess to be Christian stand with a man who has promulgated things which are an abomination to God!
Do you love GOD? Does Obama? Does John Kerry? Did Ted Kennedy?
I will leave the judging to God. But, I am free to be discerning. You cannot separate your values and Truth. You cannot compartmentalize living and true Faith. Life is not made up of little boxes. It is all one. For the Christian, it is all Christ or it is nothing!
What is the TEST we must pass to demonstrate that we LOVE Christ?
John 14:21
21Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."
We are all sinners, saved by grace, we all fall short of the glory of GOD. But I for one, the chief of sinners, do not see anything that demonstrates that “the man in the backyard is one of us.” He is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Lastly, if you do not stand for something you stand for nothing.
To give a pass on sin to anyone–clergy, politicians, business people, bosses, co-workers is a sin. We are CALLED to speak the truth in love. Do a word search in the gospels for the words " I tell you the truth…" it is an eye-opener. I love you all and bless you in Jesus name.
