Catholic hospitals perform contraceptive sterilizations

At least 9,684 sterilizations and even some abortions may have been performed at Catholic hospitals in Texas between 2000 and 2003. Does our Church money go to support Catholic hospitals which perform these contraceptive procedures?

That is horrible, but, unfortunately, I’m not surprised.

This line just says it all, doesn’t it?

There should be no confusion over the teaching of the Church. It has remained constant. This is an effort to put the blame on the Church, basically saying “the Church isn’t clear enough on its teachings therefore we can’t be to blame”. Hogwash.

My question is…who acts on this information to put an end to what’s happening in Texas (and I’m sure across the country). Is it the Bishop’s responsibility now?
