Well (tung in cheek) I think that outsiders should run the religions of others. It would make things more equal.

Now for real. Others (outsiders) have no say in how the Catholic Church regulates its beliefs. Sure they might have an opinion I’ll give them that. They just don’t have a say.
 
I saw ABC’s story on this is morning. They interviewed severalPriest’s who they said had been asked Excommunicated because they got married. Of course that is false as we have many married priests and the Catholic Church. They were excommunicated for direct disobedience to the Pope. that they took a vow to not only to remain celibate and to also obey the Pope when they were ordained. So they were interviewing men who had broken two solemn vows and asking us to feel sorry for them.

ABC also indicated that the Pope was meeting with the Cardinals this week in the Church equivalent of a Cabinet meeting to see about letting these men back in the church. Of course that not true either

Instead of starting to list the items reported on ABC that were not true, perhaps we should start listing the things they report that are true. The lines are open.
 
Whether Priests should marry is a matter of current debate in the public arena. Who cares what the poll shows?
