In another effort by gay activists to surpress Christian opposition in Canada, a gay man is using the law against offending homosexuals in that country to put down a Catholic magazine, called “Catholic Insight.” See:

This is only the latest effort by gays in Canada to use the law, which identifies opposition to the gay lifestyle a violation of human rights, to assail to right of Christians to speak, and, in this case, freedom of the press.

CA just had a show on marriage with lawyer Charles LaMandi and gave example after example of these same kinds of things happening in Canada and the U.S. His outlook was fairly bleak and he warned that it will only get worse. This is scary and we need to pray for the protection of marriage as God designed it.

That guy did a great job of showing how it goes from supporting gay marriage to squelching opposition speach against gays, etc. Some of the stuff he reported on that’s going on in Canada is downright scarey. Like 1984 big brother scarey.

I wonder if a backlash will develop. It sounds as if Mr. Wells and his organization are abusing the law. Perhaps there will be pressure on the legislators to re-write the law to allow a religious exemption.

I would not doubt if St. Paul were still walking this earth, he would be facing hundreds of law suits for “violating gay rights.”

…alleging that C.I. has targeted homosexuals as being a powerful menace, made negative generalizations about them, portrayed them as preying upon children, blamed them for problems in society and the world, portrayed them as dangerous or violent by nature, conveyed the idea that they are devoid of any redeeming qualities and are innately evil, used inflammatory and derogatory language to create a tone of “extreme hatred and contempt,” trivialized or celebrated past persecution or tragedy involving them and called for action to be taken against them.
Wow, sounds like some of the things that anti-Catholics have said about the Catholic Church. So would Catholics also have a cause of action against anti-Catholic propagandists?

Personally, every time one of these lawsuits arise, I would countersue for a large sum of money. That’s what these activists can’t survive without…so hit them where it hurts big time!

Sounds good to me, unfortuantely the human rights kangaroo courts in Canda are pro-homophile so they won’t help Catholics and Christians only sodomites and their coddlers.

I really do wonder where we are going. All of a sudden in many areas, the Church is under violent attack for speaking God’s truth and prosecuted as being intolerant and breaking “Man"s” law, which is flawed at best. But yet no one speaks out against those Islamic terror cells, or mosques where their hatred and terror is preached. What are we coming to? It seems everything is backwards.

We need backlash for sure, demonstrations, we have to be pro-active, not whining and saying how sad ‘let’s pray for the situation’, sure praying is important, but we have to do something too.

I don’t mean violence, after all there are peaceful by stern demonstrations, if the gay rights want to riot, sure, we shall too, bring in our philosophers and theologians to LOGICALLY prove what must be done in court.

If you actually read the magazine in question, you will find that it dances around the concept of “hate the sin, love the sinner”. One could legitimately find this offensive and hateful. Are we familiar with the concept of “passive aggressive”? The magazine constantly takes a holier-than-thou attitude towards gays. Of COURSE that is offensive, but I support their free-speech rights. And I assure you that there are gays out there that are libertarian. They support free speech. Check out: torontosun.com/News/Columnists/Coren_Michael/2008/02/09/4836848-sun.php
