Catholic Member of Parliament detained

As some of you may be aware of the political situation in Malaysia, of recent, one of our sisters, Ms Teresa Kok have been detained by authorities under the dreaded Internal Security Act (ISA - detention without trial) for seditious acts.

Ms Teresa was well renowned for rights for Malaysians irregardless of their beliefs,Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists alike.

Please pray for our Catholic sister for her well being and early release.

Clearly it is religiously motivated by anti-Christians among the Islamic groups.

I just want to say that this gross injustice done on our sister is shocking considering what she has done for the people. I also want to emphasise that this act is frowned on by most Malaysians., Muslims, Christians, Buddhists and Hindus alike. Even our fellow muslim brothers has come out in her defence.

If ever there was a society that all faiths could co-exist… Malaysia is it.
