I thought the Flintstones was a couple thousand years after the nuclear apocalypse that takes out our modern civilization.
 
OK…I got a chuckle out of this after being required to do this with kid #3.

Also when I started having to go to class to teach my kids their CCD at home.
 
LOL! I have to renew my Safe Environment training every so often in order to work with kids in the Church. Yes, I get why. But I already have to know a TON about this topic for my profession and as a mandated reporter. But alas, through hoops I must jump . . . .

For #3/#4 (twins), we wanted to baptize at my parents’ parish while traveling, so family could come (we were in exile in the midwest at the time). Their diocese had a hard requirement own classes. Where we were, the next class was too far away.

So the deacon added us to the instructional staff for the class, and patted himself on the back. 🤣 :roll_eyes: 😜 (He described it as a “jesuitical” solution).

Then he forgot to tell us when the class we were supposed to help was . . .
