You are absolutely correct Uliana 988, however the company that makes these is considering a “precious metal lined” similar device for the use of Catholics.
This change, is in the right direction since all vessels which touch the Precious Body and/or Blood are to be lined with precious metals…
The problem however remains with crumbs or particles.
In such a device, I cannot see how they can safeguard the Body of Christ no matter how precious the metal they might use.

You’re not alone to see it that way.
After seeing replies to my post, I did some more searching and found that there is a topic on this forum already addressing this device.
They say/debate it much better than I can, and here isn’t really the place.
I should probably not have posted that picture here, but maybe it’s good to be aware of what’s out there?
