@Titivillus, I found a site that links numbers with the Bible. Obviously there are a whole bunch of 12s, but 11 is kind of weak.

I’d have to think most extended pieces of literature (e.g. War and Peace, Harry Potter) have their own examples of 1 through 10, then it gets spotty beyond that point.
