This is an excellent example. Before and during WW2 there were thousands of Political " meme " posters used as propaganda by all combatants. As a potitical art form it probably goes clear back to the ancient Greeks.
For whom? I found it highly offensive. If it was meant as an evangelization piece, I don’t want to know the kind of people it would appeal to. The Catholic Church never has been and I hope never will be a " cool " Church.
