I don’t know about that award to “Modern Family” (certainly questionable) but “The Way” is one of my favorite movies of recent years - truly wonderful. I’ve been meaning to see “Hugo”, as I’ve read nothing but praise.

The Way is very good. Another good one is There be Dragons about Josemaría Escrivá, the founder of Opus Dei. I saw Hugo but thought not much of it.
