I love how poetry can express what otherwise I cannot. To me l express life best this way and so I add another poem. This one is about Eucharistic Adoration

In the quiet of the day I pray
Here I kneel with folded hands
Head is bended, eyes are closed
No words than these I ask of You
“Take me as your own”

Fill in me, live in me,
Rest in me, change me
Let me be a testimony
Of living life humbly and holy
Take me as Your own

Jesus, right in front of me
Listen to my quiet plead
The world and all its iniquities
Have simply left me empty
Fill me with Your presence Lord
Take me as Your own

Be gone!
Depart you dark angel.
No matter my fate
I’ll breathe forth my soul
Into the arms of St. Michael
And continue the fight
For the kingdom
In the kingdom.
