I don’t think so. A search of articles at California Catholic Daily doesn’t turn up any mention of such action, and they would be sure to report it. I think he is still suspended, without diocesan salary or health benefits.

And the lay faithful who actually take the time to learn what the Church teaches and why need to protest very loudly every time a priest like this opens his mouth. Maybe if the protest is strong enough - the idiot factor will start to get the hint.
