Seven Sorrows:
I don’t know any good stations, but I am in a Catholic band called Seven Sorrows and we would love for you to play us. You can listen to us free on our website www.sevensorrows.com
I don’t actually stream from my site, I just link to sites that stream and put them together on one page. My vision, is to have one place to access various Catholic programing at various times.

Just to give an example, where I live, we have a great radio network called Immaculent Heart Radio Hour and they have a radio program called the Bishops Radio, that originates in Sacramento every Monday thru Friday at 11:00am. Now that network streams their programing through the internet, but no one in Virginia will know this. By having as many links as possible in one place and promoting just one site, will allow anyone in the world to listen to that program and that may be an opportunity to bring someone closer to Christ’s Church wich will in turn bring them closer to Christ.

But you did give me an idea, I could make a separate page to showcase Catholic Artists. Hum, might have to chew on this one for a while???Any ideas for page layout design?

Where can I find online a Live Catholic Radio Morning Show that DOES NOT only involve just talk. I am looking to find a Catholic Morning show that has Catholic music (contemporary/traditional), lively talk, and clean humor? It doesn’t have to be national, even a regional or local program will do.

Revelant Radio is fine if you want a Talk Morning Show (I do listen to that) BUT I am looking for a more light-hearted entertaining program.

Thanks!
Go with God!

bumped up.
Someone asked about streaming Cathoilc radio. I hope this helps your search.

Very nice site. Thanks for putting it together. Perhaps a mod ought to move this thread to the radio forum?

I suggest Radio Maria

radiomaria.org/emt_media.asp?LNG=ENG&MNU=01&SUB=01&SLC=SUB&PRG=MDAS

The Project

Radio Maria was founded 1983 in a parish in the province of Como (Italy) and has the job, entrusted to all Catholics at the time of their baptism, of spreading the Gospel message in keeping with the doctrine and pastoral instruction of the Catholic Church and in allegiance with the Holy Father, using all the potential of the radio.

Today Radio Maria broadcasts in more than 30 nations for millions of listeners in 13 languages.

The continual expansion of the radio is aimed at bringing its call for conversion to the entire world.

This is a wonderful idea! Thank you for undertaking it.

I have two suggestions: Would it be possible to add Catholic blogs to the website (Making it a centre for all Catholic Internet stuffs)? And it might be a good idea to add contact information so people who don’t use the CA forums can suggest new stations (Or just post the link directly to this thread if the folks at CA don’t mind).

I never even considered it, duh, of course, I have been meaning to replace the “Artists” page, its a bit of a dud, but now I know what to put there.

Thanks, there will be a little extra for you at Christmas time! 😉

God Bless, Joao

Would there be a way to keep the artist page and add bloggers? There are many good, Catholic artists out there who could use some free advertisements. On a website like this they would get plenty.

You know, I thought about what you said, and I will change the “report bad link” page to a “Blogs” page and just put a link at the bottom of the page for the bad links.

Good thinking, I will try to work on this this weekend.

God Bless

That’s a good idea, just make sure the link is visible. Maybe you could add another link with a contact email as well?

I absolutely love your website! Especially the podcasts. I bumped a message earlier about the daily readings via RSS, but the podcast of the daily readings works just as well!

Thank you so much for what you’ve done and keep up the good work!

Sorry for the delay, but very busy this weekend, glad you like it. Please spread the word, this is free, costs me $15.00 dollars a month to host the site, I don’t charge for the use and promote other good Catholic sites.

God Bless,
Joao
