My wife is Quebecois. When we go to visit her relatives, in a small town a few hours outside of Montreal, none of them practice the Faith. For some of her cousins, or their children, the one and only time they were in a Church was for their Baptism. After that, they do not see a need to step into a parish.
When we take our kids to Mass, it is strictly just the elderly. My wife and I (in our 40’s) would easily be the youngest ones there if it were not for our kids being present.
The Church is Quebec is in a really sad state
