The two highly praised schools opened in Richmond in 2013 despite a campaign by secularist lobby groups

Two Catholic schools that secularists tried to prevent from opening have been rated as outstanding by Ofsted.

St Richard Reynolds Catholic High School and St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School in Richmond, south-west London, underwent a recent insepection and were rated at oustanding in every aspect.

The title of this article, and it’s entire premise, seems misleading,

It would appear that the group objecting to the school did not object to it based on the fact that it was a Catholic school at all. They felt that a free school should have been built.

Doesn’t seem to have anything to do with religion.
