I don’t think so, myself (the woman with 15 different saints from Peregrine to Cecelia statues from the EWTN catalogue, plus the plaster of Paris Madonna that my mom received in the 30s, my white angel that stood atop the box my first communion rosary was kept in, the monk and organ from the 1950s and my parents’ first home altar, the good shepherd statue, the posters of Pope Francis, Pope Benedict, and Pope St John Paul 2, the 6 foot wooden rosary, several colored rosaries (black, crystal, multi, red, dark blue, olive green, and white) and the white holy water font, all around my home altar. . .not to mention the framed Holy Family picture with God Bless our Home and the Hearts of Jesus and Mary in the music room. . .and the Holy Family holy water font and the carved Holy Family in the kitchen, and approximately 200 different holy cards, and don’t even start me on the bookcase with all the Catholic books --because holy cards make great bookmarks and I’m aiming for enough books to give each card a home --and then I’ll get more cards and more books.
But cheesy? Nah.
