I wish more people would take to heart the words of St. Francis of Assisi:

“Preach the Gospel always and when necessary, use words.”

I got shirts from Totally Catholic for me & the kids - good quality & good messages. They’re great conversation starters!

Once I forgot what I was wearing. A woman in a book store said - I’m Catholic too. I was surprised & asked how she knew - she pointed to my shirt. Oh yeah. :o We had a great conversation!

Just took a look, and they look good. I especially like the Proud to be Catholic one…Might order one for myself! Thanks.

Are Catholic T Shirts ok to wear?

This is the site I looked at -
catholicposters.com/shop/category.php?c=32+33+

I was under the impression that it should be our actions that show people we are one with Christ, not what we wear.

Can someone clear this up please?

Love Kellie
Kellie, thanks for sharing this site. I had never seen Catholic t-shirts before, and these are just fantastic. They are thoroughly Catholic, yet cool-looking and thought-provoking. Wearing one of these shirts sends a message that you are proud of your Catholic faith, something we need in this insane Protestant-ized society.

Karl Keating:
Wearing something is itself an action. :yup:

There certainly is no harm in wearing a Catholic T-shirt, and it might just provide you with an opportunity to evangelize.
Isn’t that a graven image? Thought that was a bad thing?

No it’s a printed image. (Sorry, I couldn’t help it!) 😉

But the prohibition against graven images is that we do not worship them, not that we do not have them as reminders of God and the saints.

I had this one made special. Actually I had several made as several of my Pro-Life friends wanted one too after they saw me wearing it. I get a lot of comments about it. Even those who are pro-Abortion have shown respect and have engaged in good dialog about the message. After they get over the shock that is. It’s cute, it is to the point and they cannot really argue with the statement. It puts the onus on them I think.

you can also check out our website
we have some new cool designs

God Bless

I think this is a record for the oldest thread brought back to life. But you have some nice shirts and cool website. Tim

Wondering if anyone knows of a site that has Catholic clip art? I would like to digitize some things and turn them into embroidery.
Thanks
