does anyone know where i could buy some catholic evangelization tracks?
Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Truth, while not a children’s tract, is a great Catholic evangelization tool. It is pubished by Catholic Answers. Go to the home page.thanks, i was looking for halloween to give out to children who come to the door.
uh, the CA homepage, under tractsdoes anyone know where i could buy some catholic evangelization tracks?
I agree. Even when we attended a protestant church we threw away any tracts (Christian or otherwise) the kids received at Halloween. Of course, I also throw away that kind of thing when it is stuffed under my windshield wiper, stuck in my door, or handed to me at the subway/bus.uh, the CA homepage, under tracts
anything less welcome in a trick or treat bag would be hard to imagine, and very ineffective, and would probably incite a backlash (I know how I react to such unsolicited things from other groups).
On another thread someone had the idea of giving Holy cards or medals. The paper holy cards can be purchased very cheaply. Perhaps St Michael or St George? I think they might go over a bit better with children than tracts. But give a little candy too!i do the SAME thing! but i’ve NEVER heard of catholic tracks and was curious if they even was such a thing. than i got thinking, IF they do have some i wonder how much they are and if they would even be cool enough to give out. naturally for a child to be interested, it would have to have a really sweet pic on it, maybe with a dragon or something along that line for them to even glance at it.
Our Lady of the Rosary Library has prayer cards for $0.02 each, including a full color one of theI Thought of the prayer cards, but here they cost a small fortune just for ONE!
Just a suggestion…pass out Holy Cards of your favorite saints, or patrons of children…thanks, i was looking for halloween to give out to children who come to the door.
That’s a great idea! You can also order personalize M&M’s if you go on their website. There is a company that we sell their candy in our stores, it’s called Scripture Candy, athough not Catholic, each peace is wrapped in a wrapper that has Scriputre, maybe you could do something similar time permitting?
The price is right, they are colorful, concise, filled with Biblical quotations and orthodox. You can put them in letters, in buses, windshields etc.rein - PERFECT! there is even a halloween one!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! lol
