As President Obama makes a fundraising tour for the Democratic party through Texas, St. Edward’s University has announced its decision to decline a White House request for the president to speak on campus. The college cited timing issues as the primary motive for its decision.

Logistical? One can only hope that the President’s pro-abortion stance was part of the logistics which prevented the school from accepting the offer.
 
Whether or not the presidents abortion position had anything to do with it, it isn’t easy to prepare St. Eds. It is in the middle of several neighborhoods in south Austin. My mother-in-law used to live a block away. Great for when the Cowboys did training camp there!

Maybe the university couldn’t find enough cloth to cover all the religious symbols in advance, as mandated by the administration. 😉
