I did say that ordination of female bishops is more common among liberal Lutherans, the Church of Sweden being usually more liberal than the ELCA and in fact, I doubt if I could even call it a church with a straight face as apparently they also started to remove crosses in order not to offend the alarmingly growing Muslim population of Sweden.

Regarding the report that You have posted. I will try to read it at work as it is rather booklet long size, but Just in case I also saved it on my “Save for Later” list on Amazon.

Well, I am not Swedish and as far as I know, Swedish organizations are not really dominant in my church so I have never heard of the Papal visit to Sweden. It should be alarming however, for both Catholics and Lutherans, if reconciliation between the Vatican and the Church of Sweden will take place as the Swedish church is by far the most liberal church I am aware in Christendom.

The Lutheran meeting that Pope Francis attended in 2016 was not with just the Swedish church but with an organization called the Lutheran World Federation. Is that a small or unrepresentative grouping?

That is, as far as I am aware at least, the single largest communion of Lutheran denominations worldwide, but (as I actually learned from researching a bit of the background for the documents presented in this discussion) not the only one, but I nowhere claimed that the LWF or the Church of Sweden are small or unrepresentative (well, I would claim that the Swedish church is unrepresentative even fore liberal Lutheran denomination).
