At the time St Paul wrote that, what did St Paul consider Scripture?:coffeeread:That is true: There can only be one TRUTH. Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:16 “All SCRIPTURE is INSPIRED BY GOD, and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness.” Also in Revelation 22: 18&19 “I testify to everyone who hears thw Words of the Prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God shall add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city.” Psalm 119: 89:" FOREVER O Lord, THY WORD IS SETTLED(ESTABLISHED) IN HEAVEN." Mark 24:35 says: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but MY WORDS SHALL NOT PASS AWAY.” 2 Peter 1:20 "But know this FIRST of ALL, that NO PROPHECY OF SCRIPTURE is a matter of one’s OWN INTERPRETATION, for no prophecy was ever made by an ACT OF HUMAN WILL, but MEN MOVED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT SPOKE FROM GOD. So you can see The Holy Bible - The Word of God is exactly that GOD’S WORD to us. In reading it we hear His voice and know His will. God left us Truth and did not leave us in the hands of man who is sinful (all fall short) except Jesus.
Also, the Bible does not say the Catholic Church is the pillar and foundation of truth but the foundation is JESUS CHRIST (THE CORNERSTONE) and his church is the true church of believers in Him and who have received Him as their savior - did NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.
