I have not issues with any term to describe these people, though I usually use homosexual as the most accurate and factual. I will use gay if the context calls for it, as in I am dealing with a group that best understands that word and I deem it respectful to do so. I have no problem using morally judgmental words like deviant and pervert if the context needs an emphasis on the immorality of the behavior. Just like I would use similar words for other immoral behavior.
