Catholics believe Jesus (PBWH) ordered the killing of idol worshipers.

Muslims don’t teach Jesus (PBWH) ordered any killing.

Please pray to your Deity before you post and post with peace trying to see others point of view.

I know of no one that beleives that Jesus order the kiling of anyone. Were do you get that?

Where you got that information from?, please read what Lord Jesus told his disciples:
If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town.” (Matthew 10:14).

Nonsense, the church does no such thing. Where did you hear that?

On the other hand the Q’uran does pretty clearly have Allah commanding the death of infidels at the hands of Muslims.

No, Catholics don’t believe that Jesus ordered the killing of idol worshippers. No Christian group of which I’m aware has a teaching like that. Your information is incorrect.

Follow your own advise and investigate the truth of your allegations before defaming Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Steve,

Where does the church say Jesus ordered the deaths of anyone?

If you remember the woman caught in adultery, Jesus said let him who is without sin cast the first stone. No one was left to throw a stone. Jesus came to call sinners to him, not to have them harmed.

That was a great wisdom from Lord Jesus, if the whole earth gathered to come with such wisdom, they won’t.

All of what you say is what is in my heart.

But many say the church (Catholic) is the truth or something like that.

Many people on this site have told me the pope is the authority on earth, but i am with you all.

FOR ME Jesus (PBWH) is my idol i strive to be like Him, to me he is what God wants me to be like. Now days he is what i want to be like.

But i want to be like the other Catholics at mass too, well kinda, maybe not, i just get envious how they all go along with the Church authoirty thing.

But deep inside i need to hold firm to the inspiration of God that Jesus (PBWH) is a way, the model of peace not the one that orders killing.

This has to be a ruse.

I just do not believe anyone with a modicum of intelligence can come up with such rubbish. Jesus never ordred the killing of anyone. This has to be a ruse. 🙂

Whoever thought of it: ‘nice one!’ Got me going. I thought for a moment you were serious. Keep smiling, but I personally would prefer your jokes and humour not to contain mention of the Lord Jesus Christ, its not nice, joke and poke fun all you like about me but please: not Him. 😦

Blessings and peace

Dear Brothers/Sisters,

Perhaps, our brother Steven John has mistaken with the Crusades. Well, Steve, the crusades was not formally authorised by the Church, let alone by Jesus.

I am not having a ruse if that means joke,

Is God sepribal? i mean does He ever not know what He is doing?

If He is guiding people in Africa, He is all aware of what He is doing with me also, true?

The Jesus (PBWH) i know would not do such, you are very right.
But i did not know the Catholic church was against it. Good info for me.

Blessings be upon you and yours

A Good samaritain nun who is a friend of mine told me once with a powerful voice “Jesus is God”.

i have asked lots of Catholics and they say its so.

by the way if you really believe that is true, you should be very afraid for you are in the catholic forum this time you might not be able to escape.

If Jesus (PBWH) is God then he has ordered the killing of the disobedient in the old books.

Steven, I think you are VERY confused about Jesus. You could read the Gospels for yourself if you are allowed to have a Christian Bible and see what they say about Jesus. There is nothing in there about killing idol worshipers.

Your English does not seem to be strong. This can contribute to problems in communication in a forum like this.

Luke 19:27

Read the entire parable to get the full picture. It ends with, “But as for these mine enemies that would not have me be King over them, bring them hither and slay them in my presence”.

It was this passage that was used by medieval Christians to justify the killing of Jews and Muslims who refused to convert to Christianity.
