I also find it hard to believe that a law could be passed that prevented someone from voting in an election due to not voting in a previous election. I would prefer that everyone vote in every election, but respect their right to sit one out. Can you provide a link or name a particular state that has passed such a law. I think he may be yanking our leg.

I thought that threads were shut down after 1000 posts?

I didn’t say I knew about it for sure but i thought I glanced through a small article about it in the cleve pd a couple of months ago but i remeber thinking as you do…they just could’nt possibly do something like that but if you RP guys are really serious about your man this time you’ve got to get it going and you’d better keep a very sharp index of suspicion against all your opponents and you’ve got whole slew of them so again if it was it would have been in ohio i’m sorry i can’t give you more reliable docuementation at all, but i’m going to go at the earliest op and see if I can find it by reviewing cleve plaindealer eds. You’can’t think like oh they wouldn’t do that you’ve got to anticipate what they will do and outdo them at what they are trying to do to you. If I’m yanking your leg it was’nt intentional and I also apollogize for an emabarrasing mistake if that was the case.

Me, an RP supporter…:rotfl:

No really…:rotfl:

“I think if we bomb in New Hampshire, then we are not worth our salt.”

– Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), quoted by NBC News, highlighting the importance of the first primary state to his presidential campaign.

Ron Paul wants to bomb NH. So much for non-intervention.

Me a Ron Paul supporter…:rotfl:

You do realize I’m sure that bombing in this manner of speaking means turning in a spectacularly bad performance, right?
what’re the Irish looking like this year/

Yes, I do understand what it means to bomb. My joke seemed to bomb with you. And, BTW, I’m not offended that you might mistake me for a RP supporter. I just wanted to make clear I am not in a light manner. I would not and could support any candidate that would tolerate racial discrimination as a matter of philosophy.

The Irish are looking good. Ranked in mid-teens in most pre-season polls for what they’re worth. The defense looks to be stingy and some reporters, albeit sympathetic to their cause, seem to think that Kelly’s Spread offense is set to flourish now that the QB understands how to run it better. I’m more optimistic than in recent years. Check out my fan group.

II thought that threads were shut down after 1000 posts?
Its not automated and this thread is moving pretty quick - there are a lot of us and only one mod. I am sure it will be closed in due time with an offer by the mod that we may start on new thread on the same topic.

They are called grandfathering laws and they are clearly unconstitutional and discriminatory. I have not heard of any being put forward now. If they were I can’t imagine they would pass. If they passed I can’t imagine they would not be struck down.

10. At the level of particular Churches grouped together by geographic areas (by countries, regions, etc.), the Bishops in charge do not exercise pastoral care jointly with collegial acts equal to those of the College of Bishops.

11. In fact, only the faithful entrusted to the pastoral care of a particular Bishop are required to accept his judgement given in the name of Christ in matters of faith and morals, and to adhere to it with a religious assent of soul

Your Item # 10 is Mis Stated, confusingly so. Bishops in Charge are of Individual Dioceses; Area Bishops Conferences are above them.
