Romans 10:9-10
“9 because, if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For man believes with his heart and so is justified, and he confesses with his lips and so is saved.”
The first thing to note is Matthew 7:21 (“Not every one who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”), this verse explicitly denies that all you need to do is confess with your lips; so what does it mean? Well, it means believing completely in Christ and everything he taught, this is actually illuminated by 1 Cor 15:2:
1 Corinthians 15:2
“2 By which also you are saved, if you hold fast after what manner I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain.”
To believe you have to hold fast to the preaching of the Apostles which is the word of the Lord [Lk 10:16; 1 Pet 1:25]. I’ve already gone over Ephesians 1:13 here somewhere, you never got back to me . . . go figure.
You have a very faulty interpretation of these passages, not one says we are saved the instant we believe the gospel, let’s look at these:BLOOD / SALVATION: Is when we believe the gospel, that is Jesus was sacrificed and died in our place, by so doing, His Blood forgives and atones for our sins, He was raised from the dead, as we will be, and now He is our High Priest in heaven and lives forever, as so will we. By this gospel we are saved. Which is confirmed by Scripture per Rom 10:9-10, 1 Cor.15:2-4 and Eph 1:13.

This has all been refuted above.TO SUMMARIZE: 1 John 5: 6, 'This is He that came by “water” (baptism) and Blood (gospel) (emphasis added) So when we believe the gospel, which saves us as per 1 Cor.15:2-4 and Eph 1:13, and then get baptized to demonstrate our repentance per Mat 3:11 and 1 Pet 3:21, that completes the process as commanded by Jesus per Mat 28:19 .
