In the first place, Catholics don’t offer opinions about the meaning of Sacred Scripture. We cite the exegesis of literally thousands of Catholic theologians who came to their interpretations under the guidance of the Holy Spirit (Jn. 16:12-13). The teaching of the Catholic Church begins almost 2000 years ago and includes the promise of our Lord that He will be with us until the ending of the world (Mt. 28:20). In the face of those truths, the proposition that Jesus came to form His Church, selected those who were to teach in his name, sent them into the world with the power of the Holy Spirit, yet waited until the19th Century to reveal the truth to some dude named Smith is ludicrous.Different than YOUR opinion about the Gospels.
We, however, are uninterested (aside from these debates) about your opinions, just interested in the Gospels themselves.
The similarly ludicrous proposition that God, the Father of Our Lord, has a human body makes Chritsian theology an absurdity. Can any Mormon tell me how this god with a human body survived before the creation? Bear in mind, before the creation there was nothing! Did this god of yours live in an oxygen tent? How did he get around? Car? Motorcycle? Wings?
To quote you, we have no interest in your opinions, which wouldn’t make sense to a 4 year old if you didn’t beat it into his brain and and have him completely brainwashed by age 10.
