I found that feeling greatly increased after Confirmation. My first full Mass after my confirmation(a confirmation Mass for a nearby parish) was absolutely amazing. The music was perfectly singable, listen-to-able, and sacred! The singers were very good. Also, I felt very close to the ScripturesâŚlike I was able to understand just a little more, able to hear Godâs Word just a little bit more.
The climax was Communion. At the consecration I felt so close to HimâŚI actually almost started to cry it was so beautiful. I felt I understood the role of the Mass and the meaning of the Mass more.
Other than the previous paragraph for an answer to the OP, I am not Protestant becauseâŚ
- The Bible doesnât say âhold fast to your non-traditionsâ
- The Bible doesnât say âwhoever eats His body and drinks His blood unworthily wonât have to answer to Him. They wonât eat and drink damnation on themselves.â
- The Bible doesnât say âScripture, not the church, is the pilar of Truth.â
- God didnât say âBe fruitful and multiply, but contraception is okay.â
- Jesus didnât say âI with-hold from you the keys to the kingdomâ
- The angel didnât say âHail Mary, empty of all graceâ
- The Bible doesnât say you will âbe judged according to your faithâ
- The Bible doesnât say âfaith without works is alive.â
- The tenet beliefs of Protestantism that are in contradiction with the Church all are easily denounced as folly by good Catholic Apologists like Karl Keating.
- My father and mother are two good Catholics. Praise God!
- The Holy Spirit has led my family even deeper into the Catholic faith by introducing us to this wonderful organization called Catholic Answers.
I wanna make a t-shirt that has a ton of one-line apologetics with the headline of â100 Reasons Iâm Catholicâ(or however many reasons there are). What do you think? Should we form a thread and get a good list of reasons and ask Catholic Answers to sell some cool shirts?
