Read Lumen gentium, paragraphs 14 through 16.Please tell me, what is God’s plan for salvation as seen through your lens? Thanks!
The question, though, is whether we’re talking about a deliberate disbelief or a deliberate rejection. That seems to be the force of these verses. Can we say that a person raised without a true opportunity to accept Jesus has ‘rejected’ Him?Ok, maybe this will help. Just two verses down from John 3:16 (which is what I was referring to above).
John 3:18
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already **because they have not believed **in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Luke 10:16
“Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”
It doesn’t.Hopefully, this shows that the ‘inverse’ IS true!
