Liberation Theology was influenced by marxist thought from its beginning,so if the marxist influence is removed,all that ought to be left is the traditional Catholic teaching of God’s care for the poor,of hope in him,and of God’s demand for charity and justice. But that would not be Liberation Theology as it is commonly known.
 
Let me pose a question:

Once the Marxist tendencies are removed, what substantial differences are there between LT and other modes of theology?
