If it’s not enough that it’s Holy Week, this is also the week that I’m being received into the church, and my daughter baptised the day after.
Now, we had only initially planned to hold a celebration after Sunday Mass for everyone to mark the end of Lent, daughters baptism, my confirmation etc etc. But, it was brought up this morning with my priest and we were thinking of opening it on the SAturday night too.
My question is this - for those that HAVE celebrated with fellow church folks after the Saturday night Vigil, what has it consisted of before? Tea/coffee? Wine/prosecco? Cakes/nibbles?
We usually do tea+cakes on random Sundays but I thought it’d be nice to push the boat out a lil bit. Suggestions more than welcome!
