Wally World is what we sometimes call Wal-Mart
Wal-Marts are a big discount-type department store.
Great point. My cell phone is for my convenience. It is for me to make phone calls when I am away from home. To call home, to say Iām running late or on my way. To see if I need to grab anything at the store while Iām there.
It is NOT for your convenience to be able to reach me 24/7.
One of our outside salespeople received a very long voicemail from a customer that ended with a very obvious and apparently unapologetic background flush.Iāve got one for you. Not 20 minutes ago I stepped downstairs to use the washroom, and there was a guy standing there doing his business while he talked away. TMI, I know, but, well, there you go. :^P
back in the day, the only tool available for conveying those sweet nothings were the eyes!:kiss4you:Iāve done that with my BF - sometimes when weāve been out with friends, and heās being particularly sweet or kind, Iāve texted him a love note telling him how proud I am to be dating him. It makes him feel nice, without making anyone else feel uncomfortable, especially if weāre with single friends who wish they were dating someone.
You have the right-of-way. Go for it. (And let the chips fall where they may??Let me tell you what a delightful exprerience it was to be on the ārecevingā end of a potty call. One of my coworkers called me from her cell phone to give me some pertinent information on a patient while āmulti-tasking.ā GROSS!!!
Iāve been in the restroom more than once doing what I THOUGHT was the appropriate thing to do (using the pot) and had someone in the stall next to me on the phone! I was actually embarrassed and felt like I need to āhold itā for fear of being rude during their phone call! Iām sitting there thinking, ādo I go, do I not go . . ???ā
Iām one!Somewhere along the line people started calling Wal-mart Wally World.
How funny!Iām one!
But, there used to be another Wally World in the county where I used to live. The Sheriffās name was Wally, so naturally the jail was Wally World!
Back to the subject, I was just there day before yesterday, and sure enough someone in a stall in the āladiesā was chatting away. Not only was she chatting, but she put one person on hold while she answered another call! All I can say is, EEWWWWWWW!
God bless us,
I donāt know. On a 1-to-10 scale of EWW Iād give that about a 0.5.Ruthie
