Yes, that was pretty good. St Teresa had cataphatic prayer style that involved images, Via Positive working on virtues. Centering prayer is more in the Apophatic Tradition of Via Negative. Not dangerous, just different, and probabaly not for most people. And also not for anyone ALL the time. We all need a balance. It is just that some people have more inclination for the Apophatic, Via Negative.

Without any personal experience or objective facts to back it up…they can surely expect equally strong challenges until they deliver. Such parroting, and going beyond what even the parroted material can support, is a disturbing example of uncritical bias.
