This is my take – others may disagree. I think we have to avoid moving straight back to the previous word, and preferably try and avoid repeating a word that has appeared very recently, but there’s nothing wrong with repeating a word that occurred, say, 20 moves ago or more.
Anyone?

I’m in agreement with you. I don’t see anything wrong with using a word that was posted 20 or more moves before. But, I know you remembered that over a week ago we came upon a word that had no way to move ahead but, to backtrack utilizing the previous word. Under those circumstances I see nothing wrong either.
