I would like mystical experiences too. But I am far too wicked for that.
I am disappoint.

Again, inspired by GodAgain, written by humans.
Somehow, I doubt that.
You are anthropomorphizing God. God doesnât care, want, fear, love, suffer, worry, celebrate, etc., as we do. We can know that God is, but we cannot know what God is. His fullest expression was in the person of Jesus Christ, but Christ was a rather mysterious person.God very much cares. If youâre gay, He wants you to live celibately. If youâre agnostic, He would want you to know His divine love for you.
Jesus cared about sin. âGo and sin no more.âYou are anthropomorphizing God. God doesnât care, want, fear, love, suffer, worry, celebrate, etc., as we do. It is part of my faith to believe that the Church of Christ, who compiled the the sacred texts into the Bible, was guided by the Holy Spirit in figuring out which books were authentic (and inspired) and which were not.Somehow, I doubt that.
How can one discern a reasoned argument, or a made up claim from âinspired by godâ?
If atheism is true, completely true, then nothing matters. I can steal, kill, push someone down the stairs who annoys me, etc.How can one discern a reasoned argument, or a made up claim from âinspired by godâ?
OKâŚwas anyone saying otherwise?Jesus also forgave
In the way the Bible describes Homosexuality, Such as a man laying with a man, and Saint Paulâs letter to Corinthians that speak of these acts, including possibly Sodom and Gamorrah. These passages still spoke of men having sexual relations with other menit is impossible to say.
A spiritual work of mercy is to admonish sinners, not to judge them, but that they may see the error of their behavior, which is ultimately detrimental to their own well-being and dignity and accountable for at death.I am totally heterosexual, but give me a loving and generous homosexual, etc., any day over a cold and judgmental heterosexual.
But they can.Homosexuals and bisexuals (and anything in between) do not have to engage in sexual activity to live âin companionship with othersâ.
Werenât we commanded not to judge, lest we be so judged? I think we were In Matthew 7:1-3.A spiritual work of mercy is to admonish sinners, not to judge them, but that they may see the error of their behavior, which is ultimately detrimental to their own well-being and dignity and accountable for at death.
I assume you mean gluttony, but true gluttony is far more than that. Gluttony is habitual excess in eating and drinking. And I honestly donât think God would send anyone to hell for overeating. If he would, hell is going to be bursting at the seams.I can also eat 5 bags of Cheetos with 2 bottles of wine. Doesnât mean itâs good for me. It would also be a sin.
We were commanded to judge correctly, without being hypocritical:Werenât we commanded not to judge, lest we be so judged? I think we were In Matthew 7:1-3.
We care for their souls, but of course all we can do is inform them, they make the choices to either commit sin or not.Why do you care so much what other people do in private when they are not forcing you to live as they do? Let God be the judge of all who do not break our civil laws.
Well, Jehovahâs Witnesses, Mormons, Evangelicals, Jews, etc., are all sure they have all the answers and we Catholics do not. The Church, herself, has said she may have to modify her view on homosexuality when itâs cause is finally known. So, I think itâs wrong to judge something when even the Church admits it may change itâs position. There are many theories about homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgenderism, one of them being that menâs and womenâs brains function differently. (This is a fact). The brain of a homosexual man, for example, resembles a womanâs more than a manâs. If this theory should hold, it would prove, without doubt, that it is not a âchoice,â but the âway God madeâ the human being. Speaking out against these tortured souls is akin to speaking out against someone with autism, Downâs syndrome, epilepsy, etc. There will come a day when to speak out again homosexuals, etc. will be as unthinkable. We care for their souls, but of course all we can do is inform them, they make the choices to either commit sin or not.
