No but divorce is considered normal. Would they stop children seeing a play that had a divorced couple in it? Could they see The Odd Couple? t sounds ridiculous to do that. I doubt that they would. Would they allow some one to talk at their school who had been divorced? Maybe twice? And lets say that person had been known to boast about groping women? Would they allow him to talk at a girls school?
I pray that they would not.

Trump is now banned from all girl’s schools.

How do you separate the moral wrongdoing from the unrepentant moral wrongdoer?
You are not being clear. What precisely are you asking?
“Moral wrongdoer”…what exactly does that mean?
“Unrepentant moral wrongdoer”…same question. What exactly is that?

Why do you seem to be avoiding language that is precise in favor of ambiguity?

Moral wrongdoer: Someone who does wrong from a moral perspective.
Unrepentant moral wrongdoer: Someone who does wrong from a moral perspective and is unrepentant.

I mean, how basic can a definition be? How in heaven’s name can you describe those two terms as ambiguous?

Moral wrongdoer: Someone who does wrong from a moral perspective.
Whose perspective?
Unrepentant moral wrongdoer: Someone who does wrong from a moral perspective and is unrepentant.
Again, whose perspective?
Do they know of the issue?
I mean, how basic can a definition be?
If what you wish to talk about is sin, then why are you avoiding the word?
How in heaven’s name can you describe those two terms as ambiguous?
I didn’t. I described the language as such.
This is a demonstration of why one needs to be precise.

This doesn’t exactly fill in all of the missing information.
How can you be unrepentant unless you know what it is you are meant to be unrepentant about? So yeah, knowledge of the sin is a prerequisite of being able to repent.

Are you still missing anything?

If your child did something henious would you stop loving them?

It may be best to avoid or limit contact but we can pray for their repentance.

Yes. Of course. Does it make any sense whatsoever to say: ‘Well, I know my boy raped and killed all those women. But I still love him’.

You believe a parent that loves their child can simply stop loving their child?
Have you ever been a parent?

This discussion has run its course.

I wonder how many people out there would say that their love for their children is unconditional. I certainly would but is that the norm?

Source for this claim?
I’m not saying that he has been. I’m saying that he would be according to some members opinion on men who grope women.

I was making a point about hypocrisy.

And the point was?
C’mon vz. This isn’t difficult. Some Christians say that a man who admits to groping women should not be even allowed to give a talk at a girl’s school. And yet…

See if you can fill in the ellipses.
