here is the mission statement;

*My name is Justin. I came to know the ‘real’ Jesus in 2004 during my sophomore in college. I was born and raised in a Catholic family, following all of the rituals and traditions that were passed down from my parents. At later point I will talk more in depth about my conversion from Catholicism to Christianity and how to share Christ with a Catholic.

I, like many Christians out there, am very disappointed and appalled to see Christianity heading in a downward spiral towards ambiguity. Many are out of touch with what they believe and are not able to explain their salvation in Christ.*

WHAT SAY YE?

This person is in his second year of college, probably still relishing in his new found “freedom” from his parents authority. He is still YOUNG.

His parents, priest, ccd teachers etc… have hopefully layed down the foundation of the faith, he may have left the Church but Holy Mother Church has not left him.

Right now, he will never listen to anyone trying to convince him the Truth of the Catholic Faith, his head is spun around by the excitment of it all. But if you really want to engage him in conversation, you may start by finding out what he believes is Wrong about the Catholic Church. Keep in mind though, that right now his mind may be closed to anything you might say.

Keep a friendly dialog open and continue always to Live your faith as a Christian, then give him to the Blessed Mother. She will lead him back home in God’s time. Right now though, this young may must go on his personal journey. Tim Staples has a great conversion CD that I really enjoy listening to, maybe you could give a copy to this young man. He explains his journey towards the Catholic Church.

Pray for him, then give him to Mary.👍

He doesn’t really seem to know much about what he left or where he is now.

I am thrilled to know that there is a 24 year old out there with all the answers.

This is a Mormon blog, not protestant for the record. They don’t like us either (to much common sense for them to handle).

Sorry Justin, your statement above shows how much you have to learn. From Catholicism to Christianity? Didn’t you know that Catholicism is the ORGINIAL Christianity?

If he was 24 yrs old and Catholic, you would say it without the sarcasm. Most of you on here are pretty much the same and it’s sad. If you only knew the saving power of Christ. Heck, if you only knew the Scriptures you supposedly read!

Another of your anti catholic remarks SIA…and you asked me what? when I posted how many times I had seen you do them…🙂

call it what you wish but i would say that the poster levied the anti-Protestant remark before i said anything.

The problem is not being a Catholic or Christian or Baptist or Budhist, The problem is in your faith! You cannot find GOD during Christmas only. What kind of GOD you are looking for anyway? Lucifer too are also looking for a GOD that he wants!

For someone that said they were not in competition with anyone you sure could fool me

When my children used others behavior to excuse their own, I never let them get away with it

You love to say nasty things about catholics why not just come out and admit it, at least to yourself?

By their fruits ye shall know them…I am done with you

You mean, you might be (I doubt it) done ranting at me.

At it again SIA…can’t leave well enough alone. Why would you hang out on a Catholic Answers Forum if you say you knew the Catholic faith when you were in FACT CATHOLIC???

You’re just still angry at the Church and trying to take as many Catholics down with you. I believe that is what Satan does to all Christians… Why are you helping him then?

Go find an Anglican forum to vent on because you’ve done nothing positive for this forum as long as you’ve been here except misstate Anglican beliefs from what I’ve read. You jump in and out of issues as like a fish…no way to nail you down on definitive answers that remotely resemble Anglicanism. You’re angry at something much the same way I was after I abandoned my Catholic Faith as well 19 years ago. Only, I’ve been back almost 2 years now after looking at even you current faith because I was still angry at the poor examples of Catholics I constantly run into as well as the clergy. But then I realized…Why leave Christ because of Peter and Judas poor example in the beginning?

For someone that claims he used to be Catholic and steps into a religion that strongly resembles Catholicism smells of anger…

Frankly I won’t be happy until you leave the forum. You and Hisalone have similar agendas. Who was that other one that finally got banned? Now an Orhtodox, fallen away Catholic, is trying to do the same thing. WHY???

If you’re so sound in your faith then why are you bothering to hang out. Anglican’s aren’t like Fundamentalists…or are you really thinking about going that route now? Having a hard time figuring out truth again…? I know I did.
