I have addressed you on several threads, where you changed the subject. I have discussed the 5 solas at once and grace when you changed the subject to just one. I did not share dogma with you on those points, yet you never replied.

Now you wish to put words in my mouth?

Show me one place where I claimed anyone but Christ was the savior. Show me one place where I said the Church Christ created was above Christ Himself.

Touche!! Having had some extended family and friends who consistently guote the bible to prove their superiority in memorizing the bible, gives me pause to ask the question: What is an idol as in the Ten Commandments? “You shall not have strange gods before you.” In explaining that commandment, I tell my kids that any obsession that takes your focus away from God is an idol: drugs, drink, greed, etc. Reformed fits in the etc. category. He is not concerned with God, but spewing out the last 500 years of propaganda. It’s like a never ending tape recorder. I wish I had a nickel for every person who rang my door bell so they could 'save" me, using the same old tired rhetoric. To a person, they all tell me they are from a bible-based church, to which I say, well I am from the Catholic Church that gave you the bible.

I never posted that I was on that forum to learn about the Catholic faith. By the grace of God, I was there to share Christ to professing Christians. I too need others to remind me of the person and work of Christ on my behalf too. I need Jesus Christ each and every day. What we do not need as professing Christians is to replace Jesus Christ with religious idols of our hearts (both Roman Catholics and Protestant idols of our hearts). We proclaim Christ to Christians and non-Christians alike. Roman Catholics tend to make the Roman Catholic Church as an idol, proclaiming the institution instead of Christ to others. Justin lived out that reality and is sharing Christ with professing Christians. Do you see how people are responding to his testimony? Religious Idols are great sins against our God. Where does your affection lie, with the great Triune God or the Catholic Church? Spreading lies and mistruths about the Catholic Church, the Church Jesus himself institued on earth, is not the way to profess Christ. The CC is the defender of Truth. It was she who safeguarded the Bible in her monastaries during the Barbarian invasions.

Our savior Jesus Christ is in every tabernacle in every Catholic church. He is present there. He is in the Eucharist which we consume every day.

He is with the missionaries who proclaim the Word to the poor. He is with the Sisters of Charity, an order of nuns started by Mother Teresa to tend to the dying in the streets of Calcutta. He was with Pope John Paul II when worked to bring down the iron curtain of atheistic communism.

He was in Auschwitz with Father Maximillian Kolbe, prisoner #16670, when he exchanged his life for Franciszek Gajowniczek because he had cried out in despair, “Oh, my poor wife, my poor children. I shall never see them again.” Father Kolbe was led with nine other men to a bunker which housed airless underground cells where men died slowly without food or water. Father Kolby continued to minister to them. By the end of two weeks, Father Kolbe was the only one alive. Since they needed the cell for more prisoners, he was injected with carbolic acid.

He was with Irena Sendler, a Polish Catholic social worker when she saved 2,500 Jewish children from the Nazi’s. She hid lists of their names in jars, in order to keep track of their original and new identities.

In 1943, Sendler was arrested by the Gestapo, severely tortured, and sentenced to death. Her organization bribed German guards on the way to her execution. She was left in the woods, unconscious and with broken arms and legs. For the remainder of the war, she lived in hiding, but continued her work for the Jewish children. What woud I be jealous of my friend? Are you familar with Romans 8:32, or how about the entire chapter of Romans 8? I have all things in Christ Jesus! I think Justin just wants to share this good news with you, since he was raised Roman Catholic and now knows the truth that set him free!

By definition, he is now a Protestant or a protestor of Rome.

I think this thread about Justin is the most significant thread on this Forum site. There are many throughout redemptive history with the same testimony as Justin. I believe Justin is just trying to share the truth in love, having a heart for Roman Catholic Christians. BTW… you will always see movement with professing Christians moving from Protestant communities to Roman Catholic communities, and Roman Catholics moving to Protestant communities. I’m not sure if Rome will call people leaving Rome for a Protestant community to be false prophets. There are always more Christians leaving Roman Catholic communities for Protestant communities.
