A former Dunkin’ Donuts employee in Chicago was arrested last week after a trooper found “a large, thick piece of mucus” floating inside his cup of black coffee, Illinois State Police said.

An Illinois State Police District Chicago trooper purchased a large cup of black coffee from the Dunkin’ Donuts shop at 6738 West Archer Avenue around 10:20 p.m. Thursday night. Because the coffee was “extremely hot,” he removed the lid to cool it down when he observed “a large, thick piece of mucus, which was later confirmed to be saliva, floating inside it,” Illinois State Police said in a press release.

Vincent J. Sessler, a 25-year-old employee working at the Dunkin’ at the time of the incident, was arrested before 1 p.m. on Friday. He was charged with disorderly conduct, reckless conduct, and battery to a peace officer. . . .

Only one that I remember. Please can you link the 3 fake ones.

There were the 3 police in New York who went to a Shake Shack and they thought their shakes tasted funny. They felt sick and went to the hospital. It was later determined a cleaning solution put through the shake machine possibly had not all washed out and some remained and that was what they tasted. The police were fine. They were not poisoned intentionally. It was not a hoax, but a legitimate fear they had and they took precautions by going to the hospital.

In the city I used to live in, a police officer found something similar that this officer
found in his coffee when he bit into his cheeseburger from a popular fast food
restaurant.

This is nothing new.

A cop said that McDonald’s staff had written “pig” on his cup, but he had done it himself in order to get publicity and sympathy.

In another incident, a policewoman made a video of her crying online and implied that McDonald’s staff had poisoned her McMuffin. There was no evidence for this. The staff just messed up her order and took a long time to prepare it, which is common at McDonald’s because the workplace is run so badly.

Those are two off the top of my head. There are actually even more. One involved Starbucks, I believe, but I can’t recall it now.

I do remember the cop that claimed someone had written “pig” on his cup.

As with all hoaxes, they detract from actual incidents that happen and that is why
