So the Devil (Heaven’s biggest loser) is infiltrating the Church…we all know it deep inside…but now, WHAT DO WE DO??? My kids are going to hear this negative stuff about their Religion, the one true religion with ties right back to Jesus.

How do we keep the children motivated to keep the faith? It’s hard enough without these scandals. It seems pretty obvious that the media is jumping on the band wagon hard and heavy per usual.
Time for some Theology, The Roman Catholic Church has always had Satan. The Roman Catholic Church has always manifested Satan’s power to the level that a person allowed.

A person is cheating on his wife, continually, that person is always under Satan’s influence even if he is Roman Catholic.

A Church such as the Roman Catholic Church, which is doctrinely complete, will manifest Christs and God’s spoken word in its entirety, every aspect of it, even the aspects people don’t want.

A Virgin and person who is babtised and confirmed in this church, who is fully confessed and stays in a state of Communion, goes around quite ensured that the devil is indeed as it is written cursed below the level of the dust. And the Devil will stay there unable to hamper that person in anyway shape or form. That person is invincible for all intent and purpose, even if occasionally tempted.

As a person falls into sin, the devils influence will increase.

Your Children have nothing to worry about, as the Cheribum in heaven, they are inviolate to the devil as Peter or Jesus themselves. Children trample the devils head daily, chasing a ball and crunch, someone in tin buck two has just been saved for the day because a Child was playing in their back yard, crunched that serpent running, that person in tin buc two’s threat passes and they are thanking God and Heaven above because they are still okay… That is just something that I have realized comming of age…

“They always do behold the face of my Father.” as it is said.

Children are wonderful that way…

SO your Fine Southparkmom and so are your children. Just keep what is straight, straight, and what is innocent innocent.

Not so for all of us, whom like myself because of my past before I was Catholic getting completely out of hand, I struggle daily, and do…

Anyways, don’t worry about it… A Priest can fall, go completly Satanic from a Roman Catholic Theological perspective, and will be howling in anguish in the internals of the vatican in some dark room, and You nor your Children will ever feel any of it. Although you may intellectually be aware of it.

God allows these things to happen to those who don’t hold the road Theologically speaking, even the Catechism says that to a Priest that goes astray let them be as the devil… That is just the Church functioning, for the righteous it means little to nothing, Innocence has an ambivalence that would be the envy of a mountain.

Anyways, hopes this helps.

Also, and I hope this helps . I spent three years years back in a Catholic household with a mom and two Catholic Children…

The TV was never on, the Children watched Rug Rats, they spent about 20 minutes a day in front of the TV, BLUES CLUES,RUG RATS,VEGGIE TAILS. No Playstation ever, No Nintendo, no Xbox, no nothing, and the Children didn’t know, didn’t care…

They news was only on after bedtime, the TV was never on… That is key,
but also… The Mom, cooked and cleaned and Gardened and sowed, she was just okay with that type of thing.

The Children and Family said Prayers before every meal, and Said prayers before bed.

The most outrageous thing that got brought home from School, was something got taught to them about Christopher Columbus that was completely erroneous which was amended instantly. With a Call to the School…

They were in elementary school…

The key as I experienced it was to educate them when young and rigorously to get them through their teenage years.

Another family that I know of , are homeschooled and learn out of their Baltimore Catechisms (those ones written in the 50’s and cost about 3.00 each) daily…

But yeah, you have to take every precaution to keep all this ill out of childrens ears, eyes…

Based on this article, you conclude that this priest represents “the faithful” and the Vatican does not? Amazing.
I don’t see why you find this amazing. Even in lower level history courses in western civilization, it has always been shown that there have been some very bad popes living at the same time as very good priests. Those priests did represent the faithful.

Waking up this morning to the news that Planned Parenthood had endorsed the move by LCWR leader nuns in their defiance of their bishops and Catholic teaching, while at the same time confirming that our new death bill will finally make it government policy to fund the killing of the unborn, it has finally dawned on me what Father Amorth means when he says the devil is in our Church:

Vatican II is a spell!

The words of the texts that continually repeat the mantra of Freedom Freedom Freedom opened the door to this tragedy! Those are the words that unleashed the pedophiles. Those are the words that emptied our convents. From these words, we embraced ecumenism and abandoned evangelization. “Mankind has reached new levels of consciousness,” Gaudium et Spes trumpets. “I cannot come between a woman and her conscience,” Nancy Pelosi repeats on Meet the Press. “Vatican II says so.” And it does! Vatican II made Freedom of Conscience trump Church teaching from all time!

Yves Congor and Teilhard de Chardin and Louis Lavelle and Karl Rahner. Clumps of braided hair and blood clots buried deep in our Faith. The hermaneutics of witchcraft.
what can we expect from a Council that was completely misenterpreted and implemented by those who misenterpreted? we can only expect that more wrong will come. loss of Faith because Faith can no longer be tought. priests do not know their Faith so they make up as they go along. people cannot know the Faith because priest cant show their Faith since they cant give what they dont have. the disobedience is all around and the fruits of disobedience is death. no bishop seem to understand this. maybe these bishops dont know the Faith either.

Some people definition of Faith is that , Jesus will always be there, or something good wills always happen etc, that is fine,

Others definition of Faith, is that God’s word , beneficial and otherwise will always BE in effect. Faith, Faith that both the good and the detrimental parts of God’s word will be.

Faith for some people is , Jesus will save me, and that should always be so.
But God has also spoken, “My People have corrupted themselves.” and started killing his
people off. That is Faith also…

Vatican II, the evil press, invasion of the homosexuals…How many excuses are we going to come up with before we face the scope of this problem and why it hasn’t gone away? It didn’t start with Vatican II, it didn’t end with the changes made in the last couple decades, it won’t end until we throw the cupboard doors wide open, cobweb every corner and let the light in.

I agree with you, KC. I have one of his books and it is quite powerful. He’s a well-respected exorcist. I noticed that knee-jerk apologists dismiss what he says, laugh at it, and roll their eyes. People who think that there is not some real deep covering-up, evil, negligence, and sinful forces at work in the Vatican after all the sex abuse scandals, homosexuality, cover-ups, and burying of the head in the sand are in denial. There are Catholics in CAF who think that Catholicism is total unity, 100% cohesion and the loons are not present like in the Episcopal Church, for example. One need only look at guys like Cardinal Mahoney or the Catholic universities like Georgetown and Notre Dame, the rampant secularization of morals in these schools, and the mass turning-the other cheek about many moral and sexual issues in the Church and we realize that things are disfunctional in our Catholic family like the other churches. We have skeletons in the closet, dirty laundry, and we need some moral Cheer or Tide to bleach it out…I for one agree with Father Amorth’s assessment and disgust. Being disgusted and fed up doesn’t make the believer a bad Catholic.
Father Amorth is worth listening to and not merely a quack like some others. One of his books has been published by the respected Catholic publisher Ignatius. His opinion on Satanic inflitration of the Church is quite possible given how the Church declined in power and genuine believers since the 60s.

Catholic Theologian Malachi Martin, now deceased, and who was a professor at the Vatican’s Pontifical Biblical Institute and an insider within the Vatican for two Popes predicted these events would occur back in the early eighties and that many seminaries will apostatize with the infilling of homosexual priests and instructors. In a radio program, he said that there are very few seminars adhering to the Dogma of the Church. Unfortunately, his predictions were right on. He also mention the 3rd secret of Fatima which is still in controversy. Brilliant simplistic Irish priest but very humble priest.

Also, let’s get one thing clear. There is a clear difference between demonic possession and demonic oppression. A Catholic can come under demonic oppression or attack especially if he opens the door through sin. Demonic possession is a whole other matter. And yes, it is a strategy of Satan to attack the leaders of Churches and that is why they need our prayers the most. If Satan and his angels can cause a fall of a major church leader, then he can cause the fall of many of the faithful…economies of scale.

Don’t forget that there are many Satanist and members of Wicca wanting to destroy the church and praying and sacrificing daily for its downfall.

I read both of his books a few years back. Very interesting and easy to read…
It has always been a question in my mind as to why exorcisms are not used more often…
It’s looked at as something to be considered crazy or something. Why do people of the psychiatriac community have to approve? It’s something done in the bible more than once correct? I raise an eyebrow when the church has to go to another belief system such as psychiatry before doing something which it is said christians will do, in the bible. It’s as though something of God has to be approved by something of man first…
Not that i sit around worrying about it because i hardly think about it…But I personally do believe that demons exist and angels too for that matter…alot of saints have. So why wouldn’t it be the case that their are demons in the Vatican. The devil was present for 40 days in the desert, taunting and tempting, correct? It only makes sense that he’d try the hardest in the Vatican.

What is hard is that the Church enjoys every stereotype, So the Catholic Church is queer, homosexual, abuses children, performs cover-ups. etc…

I am sticking with this set of stereotypes, they are better if you think about it, then what our enemy’s would be attacking if they had to find other stereotypes.

THINK THINK!!! SEE…

Well Maureen Dowd the Church is not finished as you say in your article.

It looked very over for everyone on Good Friday, but it resurrected itself on Sunday, it was built on a Rock for a reason.

You only build on a Rock for a reason, yes, storms, which must have been foreseen by Christ, other-wise He would have built it on sand in contradiction to His own parable.

So if you read this Maureen Dowd, the Catholic Church was here before you got here, and it will be here when your gone.

For Fr Amoroth so say the devil is in the Catholic Church is no big revelation, he was around when Judas betrayed Christ, and before, and he most likely will be around in the future, until God finally throws and ties him up in the abyss.

Saint Benedict, patron Saint of Exorcists, pray for us !

Maureen Dowd wrote

“Vatican II liberalized rules but left the most outdated one: celibacy. That vow was put in place originally because the church did not want heirs making claims on money and land. But it ended up shrinking the priest pool and producing the wrong kind of candidates — drawing men confused about their sexuality who put our children in harm’s way.”

she also wrote
"We must reassess. Married priests and laypeople giving the sacraments are not going to destroy the church. Based on what we have seen the last 10 years, they would be a bargain. "

if someone is prepared to claim to be a Catholic and publish text such as this then I would suggest that Satan is not only hanging around the Vatican but is also quite well embedded in the New York Times.

Changes to the vows of celibacy are not going to change the rates of pedophile or homosexual priests entering seminaries and becoming priests any more than the rules of chastity changes the same rates in the non-clerical population.

Child abuse and incest was a problem in the married population and will continue to be.
Sexual abuse including child abuse and pedophila is a problem for all who are charged with the care of children and young people, be they police, teachers, child minders, social workers and anyone else who is put in a position of authority over the vulnerable, immature and impressionable.
How many mental hospital workers take advantage of their charges, especially if they know the patients have been sterilized “for their own good”?

Come on Ms Dowd, get real.

Does the ban on adultery prevent adultery?
Does the ban on adultery prevent divorce?
Does the ban on fornication prevent out of wedlock births?
Does the ban on fornication prevent abortions?

Does a ban on any sin prevent the sinner indulging?

No. The solution is not to lift the ban on celibacy. While there may indeed be valid arguments against clerical celibacy the occurrence of clerical child sex abuse is not one of them.

The sex abuse scandal is a massive wound and to discuss the relationship of celibacy to this is nothing more than a display of gross ignorance.

The Church needs to re-assess the way sexuality is discussed and dealt with, not by the Church but by the parishoners. It needs to row back the taboos surrounding sex and sexuality.
These taboos may not be the fault of the Church itself but the fault of the parents who instill their own pathological attitudes to sex and sexuality into their children. These parents may also blame the Church for the way they think of these issues. It seems that some people conveniently forget that they do actually have minds of their own and should be able to figure things out for themselves.

If the Church is at fault it is because in some countries it developed and encouraged certain attitudes, and failed to respond adequately when those attitudes took on a life of their own.

I’m sorry, but while what happened, and may be continuing to happen is disturbing enough the fact that people are prepared to claim to be Catholic and then fire shots at the Church is more disturbing.

The Church needs defenders and help in recovering. It does not need any more Judases.

Very true - we need to do this and protect our children from erroneous and misguided education and mis-information.
That may require that we re-educate ourselves so we know truth from falsehood and require that we also blow our own cobwebs away.
