Child discipline meeting with friends

DW and I are about to approach, with as much love and faith as we can muster, good friends who have disciplinary problems with their three young children. They are faithful Catholics, but he was often away in the military. She was and is overloaded. The middle child is showing signs of withdrawing, as he is often picked on my older brother. Younger sis emulates the oldest. We call upon the Holy Spirit to guide us, as we have bought Dr. Ray Guarendi’s book Discipline that lest a lifetime and will present it to them. May the Spirit guide us in all truth and love as we broach this difficult subject with beloved friends. Thank you and may God bless you all.

Praise the Holy Spirit! We went to dinner, which they must have wondered about, and I had secreted Dr. Ray’s book in my jacket. Just as I was about to broach the subject, the father, Brad, suddenly blurted out, “We ordered all of Dr. Ray Guarendi’s books”. I pulled the copy of Discipline that lasts a lifetime out of my jacket and said, “You mean like this one?” and handed it to him. We had a heart to heart and Spirit-filled dinner. They appreciated what we did for them, and were seeking a solution. What a blessing! And I was worried about it! Where is my faith? Thank you two and God bless you.
