They do realize that it is also the victim’s child. I don’t understand how it was torture unless she had health problems, but I didn’t read anything explicit.

Also two wrongs do not make a right. The fact that one man commits rape does not justify another in committing murder.

In a nutshell, this girl realized she was pregnant ( and her mom as well) at about 23 weeeks( cannot remember exactly now).
The doctors asked for the child to wait a few weeks so that the baby could survive and it would be safer for the girl .
There were adoptive parents who offered themselves to adopt the baby if they wanted.
The mother of the 11 year old girl refused, judge said it was mom and 11 year old girl to decide, basically her mom and so the C section and the baby died I believe soon after.
I think it was the doctor director of the hospital( or an authority directly related to this hospital)resigned as a consequence of it and his disagreement to what had happened.
Very sad. Everything very sad, poor child and baby.
As for the details, the activists, and the extra that surrounded this event, I didn’t even read. What for?

The comments by the activists show just how insane many of these pro abortion radicals are.

I wonder what happened to the 65 year old evil monster who raped her.

But Catholics are as opposed to the morning-after pill as they are to abortion at 23 weeks. Why keep bringing up the late abortion issue?

I do not know what you are referring to in this context, sorry…
This is the one case( that I can recall) that came out in the news because of the age of the girl and the circumstances. I am Argentinian.
The debate about abortion wasn’t something of our concern. It didn’t come from the people, It found a political opportunity and was established.
One more cause for division, as if we needed another one…
It is infesting our culture.

It’s a horrible dilemma, but I cannot honestly say how different my feelings might be if I were the parent of the eleven year old rape victim…I’d like to say my thoughts and convictions would not change, but sometimes the further I am from an ugly situation, the easier it is to be self-righteously indignant.

It is not really self righteous.
It is that it was as rationally and as compassionately and as assertively displayed so that both would do well.
It was a race against time.
Who can deny it was a tough spot? Of course it was.

Guys @LML
check this out on the 5:42 mark.

Trent Horn discusses the issue of abortion and invites pro-choice listeners to explain why they are pro-choice.

Questions and Topics Covered:
  • 02:36 - Can you please explain what you meant about taking out a live fetus from a woman’s womb rather than a dead one?
  • 05:42 - I think the Catholic Church has too narrow of a view. When a 12 year old girl is raped, forcing her to carry the baby to term is sacrificing a child for a child.
  • 14:59 - I don’t think that a clump of cells has a soul.
  • 20:00 - Abortion is a necessary evil in cases of extreme birth effects.
  • 29:14 - We live in a free country and not everyone follows your belief.
  • 37:13 - A person has a right to do what they want with their body.
  • 42:15 - I don’t support abortion, but the government should not dictate what a person can do.
  • 44:15 - I am pro-life in the sense that I don’t like mass killings of unborn babies. But, I think life doesn’t begin at the moment of conception, I think it begins at birth.
  • 52:03 - I don’t believe it’s okay, but it has to be oayk because of all of the other laws that would have to be changed if abortion became illegal.

By the way went Trent talks about plan B… Don’t just go by what he says in that case. Study what the Church teaches.

I don’t want anyone to be misinformed. They might have to determine first that conception hasn’t happened before use.

I just want to tell only about one aspect of this case.If a ‘child’ get pregnant from the egg realised from her own overies, and the fertilised egg grows in her uterus, forget about her age.She is naturally prepared for a child birth. So there is no justification for terminating the pregnency on this account.

I made a mistake with the cases.
This is the second case in a couple of months. There was a 12 year old and an 11 year old girl. In two different provinces.
The case I explained was the previous one.

Underage pregnancy is extremely serious. 90 girls under 16 years of age die every day from pregnancy related complications. Bear in mind that these pregnancies are risky for the baby.
Premature delivery via c-section used to be an abortion method. Of course in this case some attempt is made to save the baby. Inducing premature labour is also a pregnancy termination method. So, in a sense pregnancy termination was granted, just with the killing bit left out.
In case of dangerous pregnancies, inducing premature labour along with revival of or palliative care for the baby isn’t an attempt on the baby’s life but are recognition that the mother can no longer safely sustain the baby’s life.

It’s very sad when rape happens. It’s even worse when the rape causes a child the victim never acted toward.

My aunt was raped, and grew pregnant of it. I don’t quite know what age she was, but what bothered her was if the child would look like the rapist. Gave the babe up for adoption, which I think is usually the best choice in these types of cases (there should be a charity that gives free therapy to rape victims, especially pregnant rape victims).

This case is changed by the immaturity (physically) of the girl. I suppose the best thing to do is to try to act within the best interest of both lives.

My sister lives in Coimbatore with her husband and has been married for 6 years to her high school lover. Everything was going fine between them until one day she found out about his affair with his colleague. But when she confronted him, he denied all of it. He abused her sexually for 5 months. They fought a lot, even verbally abused each other but later she tried resolving their issues because she found that she was pregnant.

Once he knew about the pregnancy, he told her about his affair with the colleague and asked for a divorce. She pleaded him a lot to stay and fix the marriage but he left her with the divorce papers. After talking to many divorce lawyers in Coimbatore, they resolved the case with appropriate measures to provide financial and social security to my sister and the unborn child. The court fixed alimony and child maintenance. Not only alimony, but my sister also got the flat in her name, where she was living with her husband after marriage, to stay with the child.
