I support such action. Nonetheless, note that the influence here stated does not involve hiring campaign officials who have failed to disclose their work as agents of foreign government, unreported meeting with campaign officials to discuss illegal campaign activities, surreptitious disinformation campaigns, hacking of local voting systems.

And we don’t have to wonder any longer about the Trump fans pooh-poohing concerns about foreign influence should it favor their candidate.

Honestly, I’m more worried about the DNC and RNC meddling with elections than Russia or China .

But the DNC and China combining to meddle with the election should be more troubling still, which is what the article is about. And even more worrisome is the prospect of the DNC cooperating with China and (as it did before) Russia and “deep state” actors in the IRS, CIA and FBI to subvert the election. Unless Barr acts quickly and decisively to prevent it, that’s almost a certainty.

There is extremely big money that does not want Trump to renegotiate the trade arrangements with China. One needs to ask oneself what organizations and people benefit financially from the trade imbalance and technology transfer, and what party do they support politically?
