A big “no thanks!” to this one! Last thing we need is an even more direct route to or from Red China. I’ve no interest in their “New Silk Road” either. We should be more concerned with rebuilding our industrial infrastructure back up and employing North Americans to make the products which are sold domestically rather than ease the route for more junk to be imported from China.

I agree with you! We don’t need an easier way for Chinese manufactured lead contaminated toys to get here FASTER…

We need to help our economy…this does not help OUR manufacturing…it just helps the communists.

I also don’t understand the 125 mile ocean tunnel, when farther north, AK and Kamchatka are a dogsled ride apart.

The extra trackage on land would be far cheaper to build than an ocean tunnel of record length.

This is IMNAAHO a stunt for public consumption.
