Your article is something, it is actually saying something like China is probably going after these fisherman that show up dead on the shores, usually of Japan.

This is almost like a murder mystery, reading more closely.

If this is happening, it would be terrible.

(edited my previous post),

There is also some sort of problem with Chinese fishing near Iran. Iran okays the fishing because China invests in Iran apparently but it is suppose to be bad for the environment.

So, what is the OPs thoughts on this? Or anyone else? This is pretty bad news.

Chinese fishing boats have been seen around South America.

They are damaging the protected marine environment near the Galápagos
That’s a nutty story. I mean, to think a small fleet is out there near Ecuador South America. I believe it though.

China does this “bottom trawling” near Iran, which as I said, isn’t suppose to be good for the environment.

More, this stuff is starting to happen all the time, I think this lady was arrested about last Saturday. Both photos are of her, Tang.

Chinese Scientist Charged With Visa Fraud Appears In SF Federal Court

July 27, 2020

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A Chinese scientist charged with visa fraud after authorities said she concealed her military ties to China in order to work in the U.S. made her first appearance Monday in federal court by video.

Juan Tang, 37, was appointed a federal public defender and U.S. Magistrate Judge Deborah Barnes ordered Tang to remain in custody, saying she is a flight risk, while her attorney prepares an argument to allow her release on bail.

China has a huge population to feed, this regime has already shown it is not bound by any maritime laws, the South China sea being a good example. I don’t think they care if they encroach on other countries fishing grounds, they’ll deplete those resources and move on, the US has the largest fishing zone in the world. I’ll bet China is eyeing off it’s options for the future in this area.

I don’t think the CCP think’s it’s bound by any law.

It’s claimed the South China Sea, which in spite of its name is international waters, it’s also claimed Mt. Everest, Arunachal Pradesh, which currently is a part of India, and now it claims Vladivostok and the Kamchatka peninsula, which belongs to Russia.

There have been reports of China capturing Indonesian fishermen and enslaving them and dumping their bodies in the sea when they die of overwork.

Also due to the imbalanced gender ratio, there is the trafficking of women from poorer countries.

According to the UN, China is the largest exporter of fish and one of its main trading partners for fish products is the United States. The catch from any dodgy Chinese fishing probably isn’t just feeding their domestic population.
