Chinese Deal: Good or Bad?

At first, I couldn’t understand why this was being done. I listened to a program on the local catholic radio station (not if it was an EWTN broadcast or not). The issue is complex to be certain. All but four bishops are loyal to the Pope (two from the “underground “ church and two from the recognized church), and was stated are not unusually opposing the other. I will not make a judgement, especially now I know there is much more information that is not generally published. If I remember the program I would list it.
 
The West also doesn’t give as much attention to the views of Cardinal Tong, the current archbishop of Hong Kong.
The Vatican China deal has been in discussions for years and this is what Cardinal Tong said one year ago.
