Okay, you present passages from John, and demand I answer your conclusion you drew from these specific passages.
I am hand tied. I can not.
Why?
Because I don’t read the bible that way. I don’t like isolating verses and making a theological supposition based on such limited criteria.
 
let’s continue on with Christ’s prayer shall we…St.John17;20"Yet not only for these do i pray but for those who,through their word,are to believe in me"the part quoted by underdog refers to the apostles only then Christ continues in His prayer to include us we are the ones who believe at their word.Christ Himslef personly has not taught any one of us,rather we beleive because of those taught by the apostles,and so on to today.
i ask underdog who has shown you the face of Christ?
underdog tells us Christ is the head of the church at which he worships,yet it is a humanbeing standing before him teaching him…so is this human Christ then?

God shined his light into my dark heart to be able to see the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. Underdog, there is not a single thing I can see that any catholic would say is dissagreeable with the scriptures you posted.
Your statements about cunning, I don’t understand how they relate to the scriptures you posted.:confused:
 
I do believe every word of the Bible…when taken in context, Protestantism falls on its face.
 
For example Psalms 14:1 “Fools say in their heart, ‘There is no God’” The way you quoted is completely out of context, but I can see you have alot of experience at that.

If Jesus is everything, can you tell me if Judas was chosen by Jesus for any particular reason?
 
I don’t think this guy wants to discuss or debate or anything.

It looks to me like he’s doing nothing more than using this thread (and CAF) as a preaching pulpit.

Look at all the posts with nothing but scripture unrelated to the topic…and then of course there’s all the C&Ps of cartoon characters and insulting misrepresentations of the Catholic faith.

Hey…maybe he’ll read these two very important links so he’ll understand why we’re about to report him to the Mods.

I mean we all know he’s talking through his hat and been patient in answering him, but instead of a discussion, this has become nothing but a time wasting pulpit for him to preach against what he’s been mislead into thinking about our most holy faith. 🤷

With all these cartoons, maybe I should post an appropriate scripture to help wake him up.

Okay, let’s see if you can help me out with this verse:

He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. - 1 John 2:2

If Jesus propitiated the sins of the entire world, do you believe the entire world will end up in Heaven? Please explain your answer according to Roman Catholic teaching if you can.
